Nine Lakes Wine Festival Postponed To September

Because of the CDC’s recent recommendation to postpone gatherings of 250 people or more during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4th Annual Nine Lakes Wine Festival in early June will be postponed until Sept. 11-12, 2020, at Melton Lake Park in Oak Ridge. All previously purchased tickets, vendor booths and sponsorship arrangements will be honored.

This has not been an easy decision for us. We are mindful of the potential health consequences of having large events at this time, and the economic consequences of postponing them. We want all of our festival attendees to feel comfortable and safe as they taste wine. With an abundance of caution, we feel that postponing the Nine Lakes Wine Festival until Sept. 11-12 is the best decision we can make.

We hope that you will join with us in supporting small businesses right now, especially your East Tennessee wineries. Many of them are struggling to make payroll and small business loan payments. If you could call them, place an order online, or drive by to pick up a few bottles of your favorite Tennessee wines, it would help them tremendously.

Thank you. Stay home, and we hope you drink and enjoy local Tennessee wine with a few loved ones. Cheers.
