All of our vendor spots are filled. Thank you for your interest, but please do not call about spaces for any type of vendor.

  • Grand Tasting is Saturday, May 19, 3 to 8 p.m., on the waterfront at Melton Lake Park, Oak Ridge. Sponsors, resellers and crafters are invited to display at this event.
  • VIP Taste of Gold is Friday, May 18, 6 to 8:30 p.m., on the waterfront. Sponsors and high quality arts or craft items are invited to display at this event.

 

Food Vendors

As a food vendor at Nine Lakes Wine Festival, May 19, 2018, you’ll have a captive and hungry audience! Last year we had 1,000 guests and volunteers and ALL of our food vendors sold out. This year we are expecting an even larger crowd. We have space for 10 food vendors in tents, and 2 food trucks.

All vendors will set up the morning of  May 19, 2018, and be ready to serve from 3 to 8 p.m., in Melton Lake Park.

We are looking for foods that would pair well with Tennessee wine, which means higher-end offerings (i.e., not corn dogs or cotton candy). We encourage “small plate” offerings, as customers will appreciate getting tastes of many foods, but of course you may set your own prices and serving sizes.

  • Vendor Fees – Spaces are $225  and includes one 10×10 foot tent included in registration fee, with 2 tables and 2 chairs. You may bring an extra 10×10 tent (for a total of 10×20 feet of space). Bring your own table cloths, plates, forks, etc., and safety equipment. All booths must have a fire extinguisher.
  • Electricity is $25 extra and limited to 110, <20 AMP service. All food trucks must bring their own generators.
  • Point of Sale – Vendors will bring their own point of sale systems. No food tickets will be used this year. The festival ticket price is $10 lower this year, but it does not include food. However, the festival is in the evening and customers will be hungry and ready to purchase from you.
  • What to bring – Prepare fresh, creative foods that would pair well with wine. Special consideration given to any vendor who uses a Tennessee wine in a sauce or other element.
  • Crowd Estimate – Last year we had about 1,000 people at the festival, and it was our first year. We are expecting 1,500 this year.
  • Location – We have a slightly different location this year. We are in the grassy area of Melton Lake Park, which will allow all parking lot areas to be used for parking. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2018, and decisions will be made by April 1, 2018.

    Food Vendor Application

    • Applications are due by March 1, 2018.
    • Booth space is a non-refundable for any reason. It covers the cost of a 15x15 high-topped tent, two 8-foot tables, and 2 chairs. Electricity is available for an extra $25. Vendors will sell using their own point-of-sale system.

      Space is subject to cancellation if payment is not received according to the terms of this contract. Vendor hereby grants a limited, non-exclusive license to use trade names, trademarks, service marks and proprietary information. Nine Lakes Wine Festival agrees that the Proprietary Information will be used only in connection with the 2018 Event to provide the benefits set forth in the proposal. The audience estimates of Nine Lakes Wine Festival and actual attendance figures may vary materially. Fee is non-refundable for any reason, including weather. Festival is rain-or-shine. This agreement may be amended only by a written instrument executed by both parties. This agreement is governed by Tennessee law and is binding upon all the parties' successors and assigns.

Art & Craft Vendors
Our Arts & Crafts vendor spots are filled for Saturday, but we can accept a few more for Friday, May 18. Cost is $50 and includes a 10×10 space, but no tent. You may sell your artwork/crafts. We are especially interested in artwork and crafts that would be appealing to wine drinkers.

Art and Craft Vendor Application

    Cost is $50 per event. Friday is a VIP event, and therefore we are looking for more high-quality arts for that event. All vendors must either be wine-focused or art-focused. Vendors will be selected on the basis of quality, variety and their ability to enhance the festival.
  • Business vendors are responsible for their own sales tax if applicable. After acceptance booth space is subject to a non-refundable $50 fee per event (Friday or Saturday). Spaces are 10x10 and do not include a tent or tables. If payment is not received by April 30, space will be terminated. Vendor hereby grants a limited, non-exclusive license to use trade names, trademarks, service marks and proprietary information. Nine Lakes Wine Festival agrees that the Proprietary Information will be used only in connection with the the Event to provide the benefits set forth in the proposal. The audience estimates of Nine Lakes Wine Festival and actual attendance figures may vary materially. No portion of the sponsorship payment or in-kind services is subject to refund. This agreement may be amended only by a written instrument executed by both parties. This agreement is governed by Tennessee law and is binding upon all the parties' successors and assigns.
