Vendors & Wineries

We will accept applications through Feb. 15, 2020, and then consider all applicants before making vendor selections. It is free to apply; all fees will be due by April 17. 2020. Please note we have limited space; please pay early to reserve your booth. Cancellations must be made in writing by April 17. 2020.

We have 2 main events in which we invite the following types of vendors to participate:

  • Friday, Sept 11, 6 – 8:30 p.m. Reserve Tasting
  • Saturday, Sept 12, 2 to 7 p.m. Grand Tasting (VIP entry at 1 p.m.)

To pay with a check, make it to “Appalachian Region Wine Producers,” and mail to 1478 Highway 61 East, Maynardville, TN, 37807. NOTE – Festival is in Oak Ridge, not Maynardville. 

Refund Policy:  Vendors may request a full refund in writing (to contact@ninelakeswinefestival.com) through July 1, 2020. After that, refunds are not given to vendors. If for any reason we must postpone the festival again because of COVID-19 or any other natural disaster, we will reschedule at least 4 months in advance, and your vendor agreement stands. If you cannot attend the new event  a refund opportunity would be given for two weeks after rescheduling. After that, no refunds.

Artisan/Boutique Vendors
Artisan/Boutiques

Artisan / Boutique Vendors (pottery, wood, handmade items, or small local boutiques) – $100, includes both events, Friday night and Saturday. Includes 10×10 space, but not tents, tables or chairs. You must make what you sell yourself or boutique items must be unique; no kits or plastic. 110/20 AMP Electricity is $25 extra.

Direct Sales
Direct Sales (LuLaRoe, jewelry, etc.) – $150 for both days. We will accept at most ONE vendor per brand, and space is very limited. Booth size is 10×10′ space and does not include tents, tables or chairs. 110/20 AMP Electricity is $25 extra.

Commercial Vendors
Commercial Vendors –(home renovation, travel agents, realtors, insurance sales, etc.) – $625  Saturday only. 110 / 20 AMP Electricity included.  Limited space available. One per brand name. Booth size is 10×10′ space and does not include tents, tables or chairs. 

Food Vendors
Food Vendors

 Four food trucks and one tent food vendor will be selected for Saturday, Sept 12 only. Cost is $220. 110/20AMP electricity is available for $25, but if you need 30 or 50 AMP, you must bring your own generator.

Tennessee Wineries

Only Tennessee wineries will be selected; preference given to East Tennessee wineries or those who have participated in the past.

There is no fee to participate. The festival provides you at no charge the following: 10 x 20′ space with tents, 2 tables, 2 chairs and access to 110/20 AMP electricity, twinkle lights, a wine corral, plus a tasting glass and wine tote for each customer.

Your winery is expected to give complimentary 1/2 ounce samples of your wine to the public. You are encouraged to sell bottles of wine at both Friday and Saturday events.   Please bring at least 3 employees with you to serve the long lines that form. There is no wifi in the park.

Reserve Tasting Friday, Sept 11 – This is a smaller “Reserve” tasting, featuring either gold medal or above wines, or “reserve” wines, i.e., limited and special.  Space is limited. Hours are 6-8:30, and includes small plate foods. You are encouraged to sell bottles of wine to this high-income crowd. No charge for participating. You are expected to give 1/2 oz samples to all customers.

Grand Tasting, Saturday, Sept 12 – You may bring as many wines as you would like on Saturday. You must be ready to go at 1 p.m., and must stay through 7 p.m. This crowd likes both dry and sweet wines. You are encouraged to sell bottles of wine to this wine-loving crowd. No charge for participating. You are expected to give 1/2 ounce samples to all customers.
